McNeill to the rescue
Ross McNeil's late equaliser ended Stenhousemuir's four-match losing streak as they earned a 1-1 draw at home to Ayr.
The striker, who had only been on the pitch for five minutes, struck in the 89th minute to pick up a first point of the calendar year for his side.
The Warriors had fallen behind in the 27th minute when Craig Malcolm got on the end of a Kevin Kyle knockdown to fire home.
Michael Moffat went close to securing all three points for Ayr in the second half but his well-struck shot was smartly stopped by Chris Smith.
But McNeil, shortly after replacing Sean Lynch, pounced on a loose ball to drive in a late leveller, which prevented Ayr going third.
