Gemmell boost for BoothRecently-appointed Stenhousemuir manager Scott Booth takes charge of his side for the first time at home when Brechin City visit Ochilview.Booth will have top goalscorer John Gemmell available after three months out with a groin injury, although Sean Higgins is absent through suspension."It was great to bring a point home from Dunfermline in my first game and I am looking for Stenhousemuir to put on another very positive performance in this one," said Booth ahead of the game on Saturday."The Brechin boss Ray McKinnon and I were team-mates at Aberdeen and worked together at the SFA so I know how well he will have his side organised."City have Paul McLean back from a ban but Garry Kenneth (knee), Jonny Brown (ankle) and Ewan Moyes (ankle) all remain out injured.McKinnon said: "The play-offs are looking a bit out of our reach at the moment
However, if we win this game we climb a place over Stenhousemuir and get back onto the fringes of the play-off zone."They will have taken a lift from Scott coming in and from getting a point at a tough venue like Dunfermline
However, we did well to come back and get a draw at Forfar last weekend so we can look forward to the game as well."
