Stenny striker Gemmell sits it outStenhousemuir's interim coach Brown Ferguson will be without striker John Gemmell for the visit of East Fife.Gemmell is struggling with a groin injury, but Ferguson, in charge for nearly four weeks following the sacking of Martyn Corrigan, could be boosted by the return of Stewart Greacen, who missed last Saturday's Scottish Cup defeat to Albion.Eddie Malone and Kris Faulds both face Saturday lunchtime fitness tests.Ferguson said: "Last weekend was a disappointing day for everyone and what made it worse was that we had shown lots of spirit and determination in the league games before that."We will look to bounce back from it with a good performance against East Fife."East Fife's player-manager Gary Naysmith will return to a touchline role only as Craig Johnstone has returned to full fitness and will resume at left-back.Scott McBride remains sidelinedwith a hip problem and Pat Clarke's shoulder injury keeps him out, but Nathan Austin is available.Naysmith said: "Our next two games could well shape the rest of our season."If we can beat Stenhousemuir and then Airdrie then we are looking up the way whereas if we don't take anything we have to be ready for a real dog-fight."I have confidence in our players that we can go to Ochilview and win."
