Loan ranger Smith boosts Warriors
Stenhousemuir's new loan signing Ross Smith is expected to start against Stranraer at Ochilview.
The Dundee United defender has been drafted in as cover for Eddie Malone, who is suspended, while respective hamstring injuries keep Ross Brash, Sean Lynch and David Rowson out of the action and Bryan Hodge is sidelined due to an ankle injury.
Warriors manager Martyn Corrigan said: "We're doing ok in the scoring stakes with seven goals in two games, but unfortunately we've conceded eight.
"As a team we all need to do better, starting against a Stranraer side that have started the season really well."
Stranraer will be without suspended defender David MacGregor as they look to keep their positive start going with a win at the ground where they secured league safety at the end of last season.
Jamie Longworth returns after missing the 4-3 Scottish League Cup success over Brechin last weekend to give manager Stephen Aitken even more firepower.
The Stair Park boss said: "It's good to be going back to a ground where we have happy memories and if you offered me another 2-1 win just now I would gladly take it.
"They have signed good players, but we want the win to keep our momentum going."
