First-half goals from Christopher Templeman and Ryan Dow helped promotion-chasing Forfar beat relegation-threatened Stenhousemuir 2-0 at Station Park.
Templeman made his second chance count to give the home side the lead after 37 minutes, getting on the end of Dow's cross to nod home from inside the penalty area.
Roles were reversed in first-half injury time to make it 2-0 as Dow provided a crisp 12-yard finish from Templeman's centre.
William Lyle had a chance to pull one back for the Warriors after 69 minutes but he missed when well placed inside the box.
It was the Loons, though, who came closest to a second-half goal when Templeman headed against the crossbar from 12 yards with 11 minutes left.
