Albion lift the gloom
Bottom club Albion got off to the perfect start and then dug deep to complete a rare 1-0 win over Stenhousemuir.
The Irn-Bru Second Division's basement dwellers received a magical boost when they took the lead within a minute of kick-off.
Patrick Walker supplied the chance from the right for Christopher Dallas to strike home in the first attack of the match - and barely 10 seconds into the encounter.
The visitors then fought tooth and nail to collect only their sixth win from 29 matches, and their second on their travels.
A dogged defensive display in the face of increasingly frenzied Stenhousemuir attacks was the order of the day in a true team effort.
The closest the hosts came to levelling was four minutes from time when Albion keeper Matthew McGinley saved Bryan Hodge's 12-yard effort.
