This game was a stroll for Gretna as they ran out comfortable winners against a poor Stenhousemuir side at Ochilview Park.
During the first half the Warriors failed to capitalise on having the wind at their backs, rarely creating any scoring opportunities apart from at corner kicks.
With the Stenhousemuir midfield being outplayed, Gretna had the territorial advantage and they took a deserved lead through Kenny Deuchar who seized on poor marking to head home a Ryan Baldachino cross in the 23rd minute.
At half time the score was only 1-0 in favour of the Irons but they took the initiative from the resumption and Brian Gilfillan and Gavin Skelton had good scoring opportunities to increase their lead.
David Bingham put the game beyond doubt when he made an opening for himself when he chested down a Skelton cross before coolly placing the ball past home keeper Willie McCulloch in the 57th minute.
Gretna had a number of chances after this but it took a defensive blunder by Stenhousemuir's joint manager Tony Smith to open the door for Bingham once again.
When Smith totally mis-hit a pass it left Bingham with the simplest of chances and he duly obliged to make it 3-0.
