Home comforts at last
Stenhousemuir won at home for the first time since October with a 1-0 win over Albion, in a game which ended with 10 players on each side.
The hosts had not won any of their previous four home matches in all competitions, but Darren Smith's goal helped see off an Albion side who have now lost four of their last five games.
Ross McMillan came close to opening the scoring in the first half, but his close-range header was well saved by Matthew McGinley.
Stenhousemuir took the lead eight minutes into the second half as Smith turned Brown Ferguson's cross into the bottom corner from 12 yards.
With 10 minutes left Kevin McKinlay was sent off for the home side after picking up a second bookable offence for time-wasting.
But Albion could not take advantage and saw Simon Marriott dismissed in stoppage time for a foul on Scot Buist.
