Stenhousemuir up to second
Stenhousemuir saw off Cowdenbeath 3-1 to move into second position in Scottish Division Two.
Lewis Coult and Jon Robertson both failed to convert headers for Cowdenbeath when well placed, while Stephen Murray wasted Stenhousemuir's best chance in an otherwise cagey opening period.
The second half started much brighter and Stenhousemuir took the lead the 56th minute when midfielder Andy Rodgers was found by Paul McHale and slotted home his second goal of the season.
However, the hosts were shell-shocked by a stunning strike after 68 minutes when Kenneth Adamson smashed a 20-yard effort into the top corner to equalise against the run of play.
But the parity lasted barely three minutes as McHale drilled a low shot into the corner from 25 yards and the three points were secured when Brown Ferguson found the corner from 12 yards in the 77th minute.
